LED Butterflies

Our LED Backpack Butterflies bring a sense of lightness and wonder to any evening celebration. These illuminated walkabout puppets flutter gracefully above the crowd, their wings chasing with colour as they weave through audiences or lead a parade. Each butterfly is carried by a performer wearing a custom-built backpack frame, allowing the wings to rise up to 4.5 metres high and move in gentle, lifelike motion. 

Whether booked as a pair or as a full flight of four, the Butterflies create an enchanting scene that transforms public spaces into a living light display. They can perform as roaming characters within processions or light trails, or be installed as static kinetic sculptures, illuminating trees, lampposts or open-air settings with shimmering movement.
