PENt Up! The Power of The Pen…

PENt Up uses improvisational techniques to explore life writing; both poetry and prose, to inspire young people aged 13+. Teachers, emerging writers and pupils from George Green School, Tower Hamlets, will develop written work from their own life experience, explore ideas of leadership and understand the power of literature to change lives. The work will also lead to performances in public spaces.

Working in partnership with Cubitt Town Library this project will be the catalyst for a new writers’ salon on the Isle Of Dogs, East London. Thanks to the Clore Duffield Foundation for supporting this project and Platform 11+, our European theatre network for the New Writer’s award.
