August Statement 2024

EEA have been striving to help bring communities together through our work in the arts for over 40 years. We are horrified by the recent & ongoing racist attacks by a small number of people up and down the country. We are particularly saddened as many of the places under attack, are places we have recently worked. 

Our heart goes out the many partners, communities, organisations and people living and working in these places, particularly those who have been directly affected and anyone around the country who has been impacted by the scenes we are witnessing daily.

We are very interested to hear more from artists, freelancers, the public,  partners, local authorities, or others if there is any more EEA could be doing at this tricky time.
