Woolwich Lantern Trail

Emergency Exit Arts has been commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to work with the local school and community groups in the area to produce a beautiful winter woodland trail through the streets and businesses in Woolwich.  

We have partnered with eight local businesses to take part in the trail, these are Square Bubble Tea, Woolwich Front Room, Tramshed, Changing Lives Housing, Woolwich Library, Scope, The Works, and The House of Denna.  

If you complete the trail you can pick up a FREE activity book from either Woolwich Library, Tramshed, or Woolwich Front Room, during their opening hours.  

The trail starts on the 29 November 2025 and will run through Christmas until the 5 January 2026.  

Between the 10 December 2025 – 5 January 2026 EEA will be showcasing a winter light installation at Woolwich Works that will lead you into Santas Grotto.  

Exploring themes of home, belonging and migration while immersing yourself in an interactive installation, that will cast a glowing rainbow over the Woolwich Works Courtyard this winter season. 

Whether you want to get a perfect family photo or a cheeky selfie on your way to see Santa, make sure you don’t miss out!
