Over a course of 8 evenings from, January 25th to 28th and from February 1st to 4th, between 6:30pm and midnight, the city centre of Mons will be transformed into a poetic landscape of art and light, for it's first light festival Mons en Lumières .
27 carefully crafted installations and light projections will seamlessly blend into the urban setting of the historic centre.
We're proud to be teaming up with Robert Montgomery once again this time to host a one-time inaugural performance, on January 25, 2024 at 6:30 pm on Place Leopold. Where audiences far and wide can view the burning of our fire poem, written by Robert Montgomery in honour of both the city of Mons and Andre Breton, the founder of surrealism.
Accessible to all and completely free to attend, this light festival highlights local, national and international talent.
