Event details
Join our Guerrilla Army of public artists to make your mark on Wembley Park. Get creative on a giant scale and carve your own wooden bench or totem pole. Led by acclaimed wood carving specialist Stephen Stockbridge you will learn to design and carve patterns and shapes.
All items made during the workshops will be installed in Wembley Park in September 2018 as part of a permanent large scale public art project. Get to grips with familiar hand tools and learn simple but beautiful techniques to use again and again in your future creative endeavours. No previous experience or skills are required and all materials will be provided on the day, just book a place and everything will be sorted for you.
Maximum 20 people per session – so book now! Tickets cost £10
We encourage everyone to take part and get involved. If you wish to speak to the team about access requirements, companion tickets or any support needed we can make your experience with us enjoyable and easy. Just contact Kathryn Bilyard, Emergency Exit Arts on 0208 853 4809 or email [email protected] to find out more.
The project is delivered by leading outdoor arts company Emergency Exit Arts and commissioned by Wembley Park.
