Greenwich YouthFest is a one‑day takeover made by young people, for young people.
Music. Sports. Gaming. Street culture. Creative vibes. All in one place.
On Saturday 26 September, Woolwich turns into a full outdoor youth party! Packed with live stages, zones to explore and spaces to just hang out and be you.

Think festival meets youth club meets culture takeover.
From DJs and live performances to gaming, sports, theatre and street food, YouthFest puts young people at the centre! On stage, behind the scenes and running the show.

- Young people aged 11–19 in the Royal Borough of Greenwich
- Creatives, performers, gamers, athletes, entrepreneurs
- Anyone who wants to come and vibe, chill or try something new

Main Stage - General Gordon Square

Showcasing the incredible talent, creativity and energy of young people, expect a packed programme of live performances, showcases and special moments throughout the day.
Expect great performances, big crowd moments and plenty to keep you entertained throughout the day.
Sports Zone @ Woolwich Waves

Play hard. Chill harder.

Young Peoples’ Market - General Gordon Square

Youth brands. Real deals. Real hustle.
Pop‑up stalls from young entrepreneurs, creatives, food traders and street artists, plus youth services you actually want to know about.
Come browse, buy, eat and discover.
Theatre Zone @ Tramshed
12-5pm
Stories. Voices. Takeover.
Workshops and performances from young creatives and local theatre groups — including stand-up comedy, monologues, scratch theatre and interactive sessions.
No pressure. All creativity.
Pre-event Opportunities
Your Words Matter!
Do you like writing? Would you be interested in workshopping, receiving feedback, and having the opportunity to perform your work in a theatre setting?
Then why not submit a piece to our creative writing open call. It can be poetry, a story, a theatre piece or song lyrics.
- Deadline for Submissions - 5pm August 24th 2026.
- Successful applicants will be invited to attend two workshops on the 14th & 21st September at 5-7.30pm
- Perform you piece at Creative writing showcase on the 26th September at the Tramshed in Woolwich, as a part of Greenwich YouthFest.
