Come and join the spectacle of light that will be filling Ilford on the evening of the 27 October.
EEA have been commissioned to work with Colours of Redbridge and the local community that surrounds Fullwell Cross Library. Lanterns are made all over the world as a way to celebrate culture and tradition, such as during the Lunar New Year and Diwali. The local community will be invited to represent their culture and identity through lantern-making workshops in Redbridge.
Once all the lanterns are created you are invited to come and process and perform through the street around the library. There will be music and performances throughout the evening.
Light up your neighbourhood with a series of free, family-friendly workshops where participants can design, make and parade their own lanterns.
