Event details
Ashford Town Centre will be bursting with colour, music and festive fun on Saturday 21 November as Carnival of the Baubles returns for another unforgettable day of celebration.
One of Ashford's favourite annual events, the day will bring together lanterns, dance, live performances, market stalls and plenty of opportunities to join in the fun with family and friends.
This year's theme, Day of the Dance, shines a spotlight on Ashford's amazing dance community and the creativity, joy and connection that dance brings. Expect colourful costumes, energetic performances and incredible lantern creations inspired by movement and carnival traditions.
Leading the celebrations will be the much-loved giant disco turtle, making its return at the head of a vibrant parade filled with dancers, performers and handmade lanterns. Whether you're watching from the sidelines or joining in the conga line, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Delivered by us in partnership with Made in Ashford, Carnival of the Baubles brings together schools, community groups, local organisations and residents to create a truly shared celebration. Together, they're helping fill the town centre with light, creativity and festive spirit.
Alongside the parade, you'll find live music, pop-up performances, festive market stalls and plenty of surprises throughout the day.
Wrap up warm and come along for a day of creativity, community and festive cheer in the heart of Ashford.
