Due to Storm Bert and the predicted 50mph winds and rain for Saturday - the organisers, along with our safety advisors have reached the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel the parade part of Carnival of the Baubles at 5pm.
However, our very clever festive elves have been working around the clock to ensure that all is not lost this Saturday in Ashford Town Centre.
A revised timetable has been produced to bring the very best of the parade to indoor locations. We also warmly invite everyone to visit our very special Bauble Illumination Station in County Square where the Carnival Team will dim the lights, switch on all the bauble lanterns, and host free Christmas decoration making activities, all backed by DJ’s and Dance Schools throughout the day to help make a magical style Carnival of the Baubles festive creation cave!
