Young Greenwich for Anti-Racism

YOUNG GREENWICH FOR ANTI-RACISM

We were all devastated at the tragic death of George Floyd. We want to hear from the young people of Greenwich about how we unite and move forward in anti-racism. We saw the protests and the black squares on Instagram. What online campaigns can we create ourselves? Come along to find out how you can use creativity in activism RIGHT NOW!

EEA believes #blacklivesmatter and we want the young people of Greenwich to work with us in anti-racism. All our Creative Activism programmes raise social awareness and try to give people the confidence to make real changes through investigating global and social issues – in light of recent protests and activism around racism both on and offline, we want to hear from Young Greenwich to see how we can make a difference – together. Through our online sessions, you will have a space to express your feelings, safely guided by our artists and learn more about activism and how you might create your own creative online campaigns about anti-racism.

This might be an Instagram campaign, a piece of a visual art, an advert, a music video or even a Tik-Tok! Let your imagination lead your voice…

If you’re 13-19 (or up to 25 with SEND) and live in the borough Greenwich come and join us starting 16th June (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
