Wild About Maidstone Celebration

Come and celebrate all that is Wild About Maidstone!

We're delighted to have worked closely with Maidstone Borough Council on a vibrant and lively celebration on Saturday 9th September.

The Wild About Maidstone Celebration will take place in Coronation Square, Lock Meadow from 1-4pm.    

There will be a host of free arts and crafts workshops, big lantern structures made by the community will be on display alongside performances from local dancers, musicians and our amazing Firebird!    

Everyone is welcome to come along for FREE. 

Programme

• 1pm: event opens
• 1.15 – 1.35pm: Samba band
• 1.30pm – 3.30pm: Carnival Headress Making Workshop
• 1.45 – 2pm: MEPA
• 2.00 - 2.15pm: Firebird and performer
• 2.15 – 2.35pm: Samba band
• 2.45 – 3pm: Hazlitt Institute 
• 3.10 – 3.25pm: Firebird and performer
• 3.30 – 3.45pm: Dance Dynamics
• 4pm: Finish
