Blackheath Fireworks 2019

80,000 people come along every year to to enjoy this spectaclar display and we want Blackheath Fireworks to light up the sky again on Saturday 2 November. Each year the event is organised by Lewisham Council, but due to government funding cuts this year’s event is under threat. We are looking to raise £20,000 to make sure it takes place.

The spectacular display, can be seen for miles around, starts at 8pm and normally lasts for around 15 minutes, is one of very few London fireworks celebrations that is still free to attend, unticketed and attracts thousands of people from all over London. Visitors can also enjoy a funfair from 12 noon and a wide variety of food stalls and bars from 5pm.

This year’s event will include:

  • a funfair from 12 noon to 10pm
  • food and bars from 5pm to 9.45pm
  • a spectacular fireworks display from 8pm which will last around 15 minutes.

The display is free to attend and you don't need a ticket.
