About Zara…

EEA is thrilled to be part of Zara; a giant outdoor event for the whole family.

When Eva was born her mother wasn’t prepared for what was coming next. Eva was no ordinary baby. Eva is a giant threat to society.

The army is called; the worlds media descend on the UK; there are protests and placards; opinions and destruction.

And there is Zara, her mother. A mother who will defend the child she loves with all her might. A mother against the world.

Zara is a Mind the Gap and Walk the Plank co-production, and EEA will be overseeing the community engagement of the project.

Get involved…

As part of the London event we will be bringing together and mobilising an integrated community cast of 100 people who will feature in both performances (on the 10th and 11th May 2019) .

We are looking for people of all abilities and experience levels, who want to perform, playing; protesters, soldiers, health professionals and more; people who want to act, sing, dance.

This community cast opportunity is predominantly for adults; however, children are welcome to take part alongside parents/carers. Volunteers must be over 18.

Event Details...

Taking place on 10th & 11th May 2019 (starting at 9.00pm) at Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park (Home of Imperial War Museum London, Lambeth Road, London, SE1 6HZ)
