EEA's statement on the killing of George Floyd

EEA is troubled and saddened by the killing of George Floyd by the American Police. This is doubly concerning at a time when people from BAME backgrounds are dying in such disproportionate numbers around the world. What can EEA and the sectors that we work with do? We think the first step is to acknowledge the issues and discuss as a staff team. We then think we need to dig deep within our own practises, networks and influence to do even more to help amplify voices and powers to those in our society who through no fault of their own, have not had enough access previously. This is what EEA will continue to do and strive to do better. We will put a bigger focus and more time and money on it into the future. Please feel free to discuss with us in person, online or through other mechanisms.
