Newham Carnival

The Circus Cavalcade: A parade of thrills, spills, fun and fantasy!

Once again Emergency Exit Arts will be taking over the streets of Newham for the Newham Carnival. In this year of the Circus 250 celebrations, participants of all ages will be inspired by the inclusive circus of today and will be parading in a riot of colour, costume, tricks, drumming and stunning floats. Over 2000 members of the community will come together in this annual celebration.

Starting from 2pm at Rancliffe Road, next to Central Park, the parade will travel through the busy streets of East Ham before returning to the park as part of the Mayor's Newham Town Show.

We are particularly delighted to welcome visitors from the Isle of Wight.

EEA and Sardines Integrated Dance Company are pleased to be working on an exciting partnership project led by the New Carnival Company and Viva Carnival in the Isle of Wight with Brouhaha in Liverpool. This project focusses on making Brazilian style carnival with people living with disabilities. led by Embaixadores Da Alegria, the only disability based carnival organisation in Rio.
